Every 4 minutes a child is arrested for drug abuse.
Every 8 minutes a child is arrested for a violent crime.
Every 3 hours a child or a teen is killed by a firearm.
Every 5 hours a child under 20 commits suicide
Every 6 hours a child is killed by abuse or neglect 
Every day 2,171 babies are born into poverty.
Every day one out of every four children live with a single parent.
Every day 7 million school age children are home alone after school and their risk of being a crime victim triples.
